Dining: Cocina Juan

Photo from Cocina juan facebook page

I had a chance to dine out and chitchat with my friend at Cocina Juan one saturday afternoon. It's a very unique, artsy and colorful Central American inspired restaurant which have a very cozy, homey, and romantic feel.

The place is quite small; looks like a house turned into a resto which makes it look so comfy and inviting. We stayed inside where it doubles up as an art gallery which displays very interesting art pieces. I dunno why but it made me happy (specially if you've been thru some rough times that morning) seeing those paintings.

We had Quesidillias Con Mixto ( pita, cheese and choice of chicken, pork, or beef...we had beef), which is very filling by the way, and bottomless iced tea.

I was thrilled to see this very colorful resto. Everywhere you look at, is an artistic craft. These are just some of their very interesting art pieces:

  1. It's a charming place. It's at UP Village? Not fair! How come they didn't have this kind of places when I was still in college + living there? :(
