Happy Bread Day! |
It was again one of those days when I want to eat something healthy yet filling sandwich. I was looking at our kitchen counter while thinking of what to make. Hmmm, so i got banana, bread and peanut butter. So what shall I make with these?
Then I thought of mixing them together and I got...Peanut butter and banana sandwich!
What You'll Need:
- 1 small banana, mashed
- 2 pcs of bread (works well with wheat bread)
- Peanut Butter
- Brown Sugar (in my case, I used muscavado sugar)
- Choice of syrup (Maple or Honey works well; optional)
- Powdered sugar (optional)
Actual Steps:
1. On 1 piece of bread, spread the peanut butter.
2. Top with mashed banana
3. Sprinkle brown sugar. I used muscavado sugar.
4. Toast the bread. You can also grill them if you like.
5. Top the bread with powdered sugar then drizzle with your choice of syrup. For me, I prefer my sandwich without syrup.
And there you have it. An easy to make sandwich that you and your kids can enjoy :)
What's your go-to sandwich?!
Healthy but ooohhh so sweet. I'm sure kids will love this because I haven't met a kid who said no to sweets.
