The Ingredients:

Mineral Oil, Corn Germ Oil, Safflower Seed Oil, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisosterarate, Jojoba Seed Oil, Polyborbate 85, Sorbitan Trioleate, Sea Water, Squalane, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Tocopherol, Isosteraric Acid, Glycerin, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Ethyloleate, Isopropyl Myristate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Capryl Glycol, Methylparaben, Limonene, Hexyl Cinnamal, Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Alpha-Isomethyl Ionone, Fragrance.

The Usage:

With dry hands, take two to three pumps of the cleansing oil. Apply on dry face. Massage oil in circular motion all over the face. Take a bit of water and apply to the face then massage. It will emulsify the oil. Rinse and pat dry after.

I use this almost everyday. Whenever I have make-up on, I usually take three pumps on the first wash then wash again with two pumps of oil just because I'm an OC. But it usually, the first wash removes all of the make-ups and leaves a squeaky clean face.

The Verdict:

I do love make-up. I love wearing eye make-up at work. But the hardest part is removing them, specially those waterproof eyeliners and mascara. Believe me, I tried almost all of the make-up removers that were recommended by most beauty bloggers but they just don't work for me. Most of the time, there are residue left specially on the eye area. But that's not all, they stings my eyes and also leave some rashes and redness to my eye area because some of them were that harsh :(

So I gave in to the cleansing oil bandwagon. I thought of giving it a try. I scored a sample size of shu uemura cleansing oil from their store. It lasted for almost a week. It was so gentle, no sting at all. After finishing, I bought a 150ml sized bottle of the pink one, which lasted for months. I'm already on my second bottle and it still gives the same result.

The pink variant got light weight formulation with hint of scent. The scent didn't bothered me at all. It is meant for people with oily skin which gives the same cleansing power with the regular formula.

The Recommendation:

I wouldn't re-purchased 150ml of this for nothing. This is an HG material for me. Since I used this, I skipped using harsh make-up removers. I can say that the pink variant (the one and only variant that I've ever tried) really works for my sensitive oily skin. I highly recommend that you try it out. It got several variants that may suit your skin type. I suggest that you visit one of Shu Uemura stores in the metro to know more what type is more appropriate for you.

Price: 1,500 pesos for 150ml/ 4,000 pesos for 450ml
